AAII San Diego Chapter

Welcome to the San Diego Chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors. We generally hold eight main chapter events per year for the purpose of providing unbiased investment education and tools that can help improve the investment decision making process for individual investors. All individual investors are welcome to attend our meetings. It is not necessary to be a member of AAII to attend our meetings.

Join us for our next meeting on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 9:00 AM PDT in person or on Zoom. We will have a presentation on cybersecurity. The speaker will be Anne Saita, a 20-year cybersecurity industry expert. Anne will provide practical tools and tips that you can use to help you reduce the risk of being a victim of a cybersecurity threat. Many of us implement our investment strategies online, and it is wise for us to know how to protect our information. Details are on our UPCOMING CHAPTER EVENTS page. Our meetings are normally in-person, but we also broadcast them on Zoom for the benefit of people who cannot come to our meetings. People who attend in person have access to complimentary coffee and donuts.

HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES: We have Health and Safety guidelines for our in-person meetings. We comply with AAII guidelines, meeting host guidelines, Federal requirements, California requirements, and San Diego County requirements. Additionally, the State of California has these mask guidelines revised March 3, 2023 (and maybe later).

Sample AAII Journal Articles

AAII encourages us to share selected articles from their Journal. They provide a new article roughly once a quarter. We want potential AAII members to experience the kind of research that is available to AAII members. Click on the AAII JOURNAL entry on our Menu Bar to see the articles being shared.

Chapter Mission

AAII local chapters, grassroots organizations led by volunteer AAII members, allow AAII to extend its mission ʺperson to personʺ to individual investors in their own communities by programming meetings that provide unbiased investment education in a social context.
